My nephew just fell on the ground and curled up in a ball. Nothing like getting them scared of clowns at an early age. Didn't help that he brought up a webpage and it had The Joker on there with his crazy look, etc.

I was already afraid of clowns when I was 5 years old so how early are you saying? 2 years old?

He is 5 or 6. I can't remember. Now when he annoys me though all I have to do is say "Why" and he runs away.

When Joker said "I want to drive" I couldn't help but imagine a giant Strawberry Clock replacing his head for a few seconds.

Heath Ledger is/was a god.

I heard vague details about Twoface before seeing the movie, I instantly knew it would be Harvey Dent since he has a two faced coin and he's the only major character who could be him.

I think the bombs on the boats thing was a little too much.  Why no hesitation to blow up the convict's ship?  Sure there are some guards on there, but given the situtation, the innocent civilians obviously come first.

Joker could have wired the remotes to blow up their own ship to kill off selfish people, but then again Joker isn't one of those kinds of villains.  Just a thought.

That's what I was thinking. It would be ironic, but yeah, the Joker isn't the kind of villain for that.

Haha, this. To me, Harvey Dent is Two Face was as plain as Bruce Wayne is Batman. I made the mistake of thinking everyone else also knew and people got pissed.

No, because I didn't read a single comic or watch a single animated episode, and I don't remember anything from the first one.

I loved that scene. I have a thing about choosing the noble path in morality choices.
The prisoner throwing away the trigger was great in my eyes.

Given the circumstances, yes I could, if I had been vested with such authority.  My reasoning is that law enforcement officers are in the business of protecting the innocent. The fact that a criminal had to take the detonator away from a spineless cop is proof of the city's weak leadership. If they can't handle their responsibilities... well, I guess if they could, Gotham wouldn't need Batman.

I was thinking, in ultimate irony, the Joker would have rigged it so that was the trigger to their own ship. I don't think that was the case but I thought that would have been a fitting addition.

I did that was a possibility, too.  Did any of the characters consider it?

My sister forgot that too.  I kind of envy how average viewers have the chance to actually be surprised.

I envied it for a minute, but then I realized that they don't get the feeling of seeing something they already love come to life in such a great way.
