Quote from: FrankClock;1369011My nephew just fell on the ground and curled up in a ball. Nothing like getting them scared of clowns at an early age. Didn't help that he brought up a webpage and it had The Joker on there with his crazy look, etc.
I was already afraid of clowns when I was 5 years old so how early are you saying? 2 years old?

Topcatyo

I was afraid of everything as a little kid, so I've made a lot of progress.

Biblo

i had difficulty looking at two-face's bad eye it was so scary

He is 5 or 6. I can't remember. Now when he annoys me though all I have to do is say "Why" and he runs away.
StrawberryClock once wrote, the portal is a fine place and worth fighting for. I agree with the second part.

Quotefudgefalcon (6:19:59 PM): I got elected student body president for this year
InvisibleImagery (6:20:30 PM): haha
fudgefalcon (6:21:31 PM): I just bashed the previous president and talked about how shitty the school year was
InvisibleImagery (6:21:52 PM): oh you pulled an Obama

I couldn't stop looking at this string of skin connecting his chin to his cheek.  I dunno, but it grossed me out.

Kombucha

I saw it and it was super awesome.

Dull

Seen it to fuck.
Been awhile since Ive seen an audience erupt with applause 30 minutes into a film, best magic pencil trick ever. =p

Anyway, Too much awesome to condense into a single post atm. Will be back after several more views and much thought.
Kill the jocks, and eat their brains.

Pin Clock

one of the best movies I have ever seen. Great flick.
if there were two guys on the moon and one of them killed the other with a rock that'd be pretty fucked up wouldn't it?

yeah! first time i've ever really seen anything get across what a truly horrific experience harvey dent had

PirateClock

i liked the big black guy on the prison boat.
_pirate_butchcavities (20:29:15): FUCK CLOCKS _pirate_

When Joker said "I want to drive" I couldn't help but imagine a giant Strawberry Clock replacing his head for a few seconds.

CaramelAppleClock

Not one of best but I kind of liked it without all the gadgets and unreal effects and stunts.

I just imagined chopping out that clip for a CCTV or a 3 second colab

Heath Ledger is/was a god.

I heard vague details about Twoface before seeing the movie, I instantly knew it would be Harvey Dent since he has a two faced coin and he's the only major character who could be him.

Quote from: joliet_jane;1367879I think the bombs on the boats thing was a little too much.  Why no hesitation to blow up the convict's ship?  Sure there are some guards on there, but given the situtation, the innocent civilians obviously come first.

Joker could have wired the remotes to blow up their own ship to kill off selfish people, but then again Joker isn't one of those kinds of villains.  Just a thought.

That's what I was thinking. It would be ironic, but yeah, the Joker isn't the kind of villain for that.

The fact that he was two face in all the comics, animated series and in the previous movie didn't tip you off?

Haha, this. To me, Harvey Dent is Two Face was as plain as Bruce Wayne is Batman. I made the mistake of thinking everyone else also knew and people got pissed.

MasterClock

Quote from: HandBanana;1371331The fact that he was two face in all the comics, animated series and in the previous movie didn't tip you off?

No, because I didn't read a single comic or watch a single animated episode, and I don't remember anything from the first one.

Quote from: The Hero of Winds;1368542Could you kill hundreds of people in cold blood?
I loved that scene. I have a thing about choosing the noble path in morality choices.
The prisoner throwing away the trigger was great in my eyes.
Given the circumstances, yes I could, if I had been vested with such authority.  My reasoning is that law enforcement officers are in the business of protecting the innocent. The fact that a criminal had to take the detonator away from a spineless cop is proof of the city's weak leadership. If they can't handle their responsibilities... well, I guess if they could, Gotham wouldn't need Batman.
QuoteI was thinking, in ultimate irony, the Joker would have rigged it so that was the trigger to their own ship. I don't think that was the case but I thought that would have been a fitting addition.
I did that was a possibility, too.  Did any of the characters consider it?
Quote from: HandBanana;1371331The fact that he was two face in all the comics, animated series and in the previous movie didn't tip you off?
My sister forgot that too.  I kind of envy how average viewers have the chance to actually be surprised.

I envied it for a minute, but then I realized that they don't get the feeling of seeing something they already love come to life in such a great way.
